When i try to send an open tab to my android phone it is not working. I select my phone in the list and get the message it is send, but nothing happens on my phone. However when i send a tab from my phone to my desktop it all works just fine! I wonder if there is a setting i am missing or is this a known problem?

already used that one, but that's not exactly what i mean. When you send a tab from your phone to your desktop it opens on it self so you don't have synchronize first. On my phone it won't work like this.
