Firefox for iOS Community Forum

I absolutely love Firefox on PC so thought I’d try it on iOS and while I really want to move from Safari to Firefox so I can sync across devices, I simply can’t move to iOS Firefox when the address bar wastes so much screen space. It’s an eyesore and incredibly distracting for seemingly no reason as there’s a lot of empty space; it could easily be half the size. If you guys could offer different address bar designs that would be amazing because something similar to the small address bar in iOS Safari would be great. It’s very rare I criticise anything to do with Firefox but sorry, it needed addressing (pardon the pun).

The active tab in iPadOS just shows a slightly lighter white at the top of the tab. It is easy to mix up which tab I’m actively using or wishing to close.

I was wondering if Firefox for iPadOS could include an option to set a custom color for the top of the active tab? I believe this would help in quickly seeing which tab I’m dealing with.

Firefox appears to be very limited compared to my past experience. Bookmark icons can’t be moved, bookmarks can’t be displayed as text, etc. I’ve looked everywhere to customize as desired, but can’t seem to get it like i want it.

Isn't there a toolbar for available the top of the Firefox window? I can't find how to set that up. How do I add the toolbar?

Why does Firefox mobile for iOS look different on my iPhone 13 pro max vs my wife's iPhone 12 pro max? both UTD on iOS version. I suspect that I must be missing something in settings, but cannot figure this out. See images below.

On my iPhone 13 Pro Max, the Firefox app has the nice home button, tab button, and hamburger menu button on the bottom (address bar on top both cases). On my wife's iPhone 12 Pro Max, it has the "+" for new tab, the 3 dots instead of hamburger menu, and then the tab button. I much prefer the layout on my phone, as does my wife, but I cannot figure out how to change her layout to match mine.

Any help would be much appreciated!

I am now using firefox widgets and I'd like to know if there's an option to change the background color. They are now dark grey and I would love to be able to costumize them, and choose the color so it goes well with my background and is more visually pleasing to see and use :)

Is there the ability to highlight the open tab on the tab bar above the browser in a different colour this would help as well identify which tab we are working on for example if I am on Firefox, the tab above is highlighted in for example yellow so I’m aware that this is the open tap thank you

Firefox v150.0.1 IOS remove the dense black numbers beside every menu drop-down options - history, bookmarke, tools ETC should be an option to not show the numbers.

Especially bad when there are lots of drop-down menu options - EG in BOOKMARKS

It is not useful. Remove or give an option for users to remove.

When I am using Firefox for iOS, and I click on any text input, a bar appears at the bottom of the screen. This bar contains nothing apart from ‘↑ ↓ Done’ on the right. This bar is really annoying and moves the page around irritatingly.

If I click ‘Done’ it will temporarily remove the bar until I click on a text input again, and it will appear again.

I would like to know if this is something to do with Firefox or the device iOS settings.

Firefox iOS updated this morning to 143.1 In private browsing it’s in dark mode automatically and won’t change even if changing to light in the settings.

I mistakenly updated after who knows how long and I can’t take the way it looks now. Now it looks like the first two images but I need it to go back to how it looked in the third image. There has to be a way to fix it, it behaves and looks all wrong now. Please please help me change it

When the syten Theme switches between darg and light mode, the keyboard color does not switch. Only when force-quitting the app the color is correct at next start.

Three horizontal line menu bar is missing. All I have on top are three dots. … Home icon is also missing. Can’t find any way to fix this. Deleted the app reinstalled and still have the same problem.
