I have Mozilla VPN installed on my computer, but not in Firefox. Recently, whenever I turn the VPN on or off, the tab I have open in Firefox reloads. This usually doesn't matter, but sometimes it's really annoying, like when I'm really deep in an infinite scroll website. I want to turn it off, but I tried turning accessibility.blockautorefresh on in about:config, and it still does it. I don't want to blindly mess with settings when I don't know what they do. Does anyone know if there's a setting/group of settings I can use to stop Firefox from reloading on network change?

Every time I log on to Firefox, or attempt to use the brozser, I am asked to update Firefox. So I proceed to do the update download; The software refuses to do anything. So I continue with the old release. Apparently, this is a common problem. Yet Firefox staff continues to ignore the situation.

HOW DOES ONE UPDATE THE FIREFOX SOFTWARE?????

Shortcuts is a very helpful feature in firefox it makes u open any web from the homepage, but sometimes u reach a point where u need more shortcuts, currently the max number of shortcuts rows u can pick is 4 and each row has 8 shortcuts which mean u can only make up to 32 shortcuts only, and for some users including my self this is not enough. So my request is adding the option to make shortcuts rows up to 10 rows or higher.

When I have stories (articles) recommended through Pocket on new tabs that I'm not interested in I will typically "thumbs down" or "dismiss" the story. What I have found recently is that causes them to be promoted to me more rather than less. I believe it's interpreting my interaction as engaging with the content rather than not wanting to see it again. For example, I was shown an article on American football three weeks ago and I gave it a thumbs down. Later that day it was three articles. I gave them the same thumbs down. After repeating this process for days, weeks later I'm still getting multiple articles recommended per day related to football. I've never read one out of interest, and I didn't have any recommendations related to sports until the first one I gave a thumbs down. Based on that, I'm convinced it's having the opposite than intended effect. Dismiss doesn't seem make a difference. Please give me a way to tune the algorithm to what I actually want to see, I like this feature and don't want to have to turn it off.

Hello Im using multiple firefox edition on my PC from beta dev to nightly, and recently in nightly and only nightly I've spotted strange issue that appears as window in window screenshot attached, outer x to close or maximize window does not work only the inner and mostly goes after F11 full screen and then return to normal. Troubleshoot mode and restart does not change or fix this.

Earlier. I purchased the annual subscription for Mozila's VPN. But after finding out it impacted my browser's performance negatively, I tried to cancel it. It got cancelled. But I haven't been refunded yet, and noticed that the card number on the receipt is completely different than the one I used, in fact. None of my cards have the number shown.

I changed my browser to the latest version of Firefox, but then I lost all streaming websites (youtube, Netflix), and password autofill. Luckily I had 2 firefox browsers so on the other one I did reset and can steam again there, but I lost several shortcuts and other extensions such as autotranslate. It's just gone. Colors and pictures are on both. And I can't change back the browser that has the newest version. So now I'm stuck switching between browsers depending on what I want to do. Wish I had never changed that browser. Has ruined my computer. I've spent days trying to fix and change things.

Hello. I recently started using the built-in VPN in Firefox.

According to the Use built-in VPN in Firefox information page, I should be able to see the data usage in my Settings. However, when i look there, I can see "Manage websites" block and the "Get more protection" block, but I cannot see the "Monthly Data Limit" indicator that's supposed to sit between them.

I am running Firefox 152.0.4 on Windows 10

Am I looking in the right place for the VPN data usage? Is there another place to find the Data Usage?

I have a new xfinity account with XB7 gateway. All of my devices are connected and operational. Attempts to use Fire Fox and most other browsers to access the internet are blocked with the following notification: "Your connection isn't private. Attackers may be trying to steal your information from www.firefox.com (for example passwords, messages, or credit cards). NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID. This same message shows up with attempts to open browsers from bing, google, etc. However Wikipedia opens with no error notification.

i want to kepp my original profile as the new ones ccreate more problems as i lose everything i have and have to start from new can i keep my old profile as i am not liking the new irefox perhaps others do i do not please

do you want to lose your original people cause that is what you have done you have lost me i am able to try and keep tthe original profile but for how long with the new foi irefox i have lost all my password my extentions book marks and al ihave put there it is horrible and i am sure i am not he only one complaining about it I HATE THE NEWEST VERSION

i have been with Firefox since it started and now you have changed it to the pint where i am leaving it . i want my original profile i do not want any old profiles where i lose everything like bookmarks and everything i have added extensions you forced me to leave to leave unless i can keep the old profile always see you Firefox you have just forced me to go to chrome thanks a lot unless i can keep the old profile original prpofile and still update the versions as need ed other wise good bye to you

В Firefox резко пропал звук везде, в ютубе, на сайтах с сериалами и тд, я проверил и в настройках Windows и в настройках Firefox но ничгео не помогло и самое главное что везде на компьютере звук работает кроме всего что в Firefox

When I add sites for exceptions, why isn't this carried with my Firefox account and it shows up in every instance of Firefox when i am signed in? It is a nuisance to keep re-adding them everywhere. Also, when Firefox updates, why do I have to re=enter what I already done. It is a pain.
