Greetings. I have Windows 10 Home and have used Firefox for my primary browser for many years. I recently noted that by opening Firefox and looking at my task manager it shows 14 processes running. This causes my memory usage to jump significantly from the 50's into the 70's. The performance on searches,etc. seems okay. I recently added Browser Guard and was wondering if that was the reason for the jump in memory usage. As a side note I ran an update on Onedrive and now I have a white circle with a check mark on the desktop shortcut that I use for Firefox ... I'm having this weird issue where youtube videos will play fine as long as I don't seek the video. If I do seek a couple of times, the image will freeze but the audio continues. The subtitles also continue if enabled. Firefox Release 134.0.1--January 14, 2025 Fresh install from Flatpak. No addons installed.I have tried both on and off hardware acceleration but the issue still persists even in troubleshoot mode.But no problem with other firefox based browsers like mullvad,librewolf,zen.

Hi, now I have some issues, it all started as I put 2 step ver.ON (october) 1. I had to reset my acccount password...that was OK,after that it all went wrong.

I have working account and password that is OK, and 2 step verif. -I can log intomy browser, but cannot access my account with firefox (I can see/access all bookmarks etc)...however I can with Chrome. -error is session expired in firefox at every attempt.

after successful password change, I had to log out of mobile app and cannot signin/Sync anymore with my app...always I get an errorr "oh dear something went wrong we have been notified and we´re on it." This is strange, if I try without QRcode the error is that my password is wrong ? - now I don´t get it, if password is accepted in desktop browser etc. then the app gets all cranky about it ?

now I have working account and password and 2 step verifi. that works mostly on some other website/app than Firefox. VPN is in se but, it hasn´t played any significant role, creating errorsin anything previous 3 years. Now any idea how to fix this...I would like to avoid setting up a new account...please.

Hopefully this is something that can get answered quickly. These past few days I have not been able to use FireFox on my laptop.

It doesn't seem to be a wifi connection issue because other browsers work and other devices are connected just fine.

I also tried opening FireFox in the "troubleshoot" mode, but I am still receiving the same errors. I would appreciate any help I can get on this issue.

For years I've used My Yahoo as my homepage when I first launch a browser like Firefox. However Yahoo changed it recently so it goes to a general Yahoo page. Not happy with that as it has way too much information on the page (which may be part of the problem). I can't enter info for Google search. If I try to reload the page there seems to be no response, or after a bit I'll see the spinning wheel. I've had to Force Quit more times than I can count, which also doesn't seem to generate a report for Mozilla each time. I use a VPN (Mullvad) but even if it's switched off the problem persists. I use a MacBook Air with Sequoia 15.1.1 as the OS. I have Firefox set in Troubleshoot mode at the moment and the pages I need, like Google search, work just fine, like they would normally. Still having the problem as of 1-14-25 at 11:30 AM MST.

The context menu, which I use to select if I want to open a link in another tab (which I do a lot) or in another window (which I do with great regularity) is over flowing with 50+ items. This is beyond ridiculous! A context menu is supposed to provide you functions related to what you are doing. When I just misspelled a the same 50+ options came up. When I right click I expect the context menu, that will work. When I right click on a link and select either open in a "new tab" or "open in a new window" NOTHING happens. When I right click on a misspelled word I do not get a proposed correct word. The context menu is either broken or really needs an overhaul. This just started today after Firefox updated to 134.0

Hi. I am neirodivergent. my bookmarks are not saving, I am unable to fix the issue having followed 5 online articles/support answers. what am I to do. brain melting

I like to read our local paper, the San Diego UT, but the scroll wheel no longer works in Firefox. Works with other browsers. Is there something in settings that can correct this?

Files previously downloaded by earlier versions of Firefox as .webp cannot be opened by 115.19.0esr. Firefox keeps asking what application to use, and I have selected Firefox. When I OK the selection, it opens a blank screen with the same question (what application to use). This goes on forever, opening a new blank tab again and again, each with the same question about what application to use. My old Mac operating system 10.13.6 retains its original version of Preview installed, and of course, that version of Preview does not know how to open .webp files.

I'm unable to log into my social security account when using firefox. Have no trouble with safari.

I get the following when using firefox:

400 Bad Request Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.

Been using Netscape then Mozill load since 1996. Today Jan 13 2025 I turned on computer (for 3rd time) and Mozilla is blocked by windows defender firewall

Also windows defender firewall se/ing is now in perpetual circle of processing request.

• Windows Smart App Contol is turned off.
• advance virus scan will not launch due to alpha characters will not populate, only numeric, even when switching keyboard languages.
• no error or alarms other than firewall is blocking Mozilla and Mozilla VPN.
• Nic and internet is working fine
• Client Microsoft Intune installed for work Account

Windows 11 pro, all updates to windows and Mozilla, virus and dell processed through January 10 (from history)

As of yesterday I am unable to bookmark any site. Also, my bookmark history as stopped recording. At the same time, all my most used shortcuts have disappeared from the start up home page and will not reload despite multiple attempts. Please help, as what was once easy access shortcuts, including access to my mail, is now a multiple step process to activate.
