When I save photos many of their file extensions are in upper case. How can a save the files in lower case?

After surfing the web and saving some photos, a lot of the saved photos have file extensions that are .JPG. Is there a way so that all photos are saved as .jpg?

I have a program that can convert the case after the fact but it would be so much more convenient if the files were saved in lower case to begin with.

Hi randrall,

The Firefox OS phone does not currently have a feature to automatically rename downloaded images.

Is there a particular reason you wish to rename the uppercase JPG extension to lowercase jpg? From my understanding, most programs should be able to access both extensions in the same way.

Please let us know if you have any other question.

Thanks!!
