How can I get to about:memory?

more options

I want to work on a memory issue with Firefox. One recommendation is to use the "about:memory page," but I don't know how to find it. Will someone explain how to get to about:memory?

Chosen solution

Hi bobover3,

It is simple just navigate to it: key in to the addressbar about:memory then click the green triangle or hit the return key.

Note it allows you to save the results and reload them later. It has buttons to reduce memory usage, and gives information on mouseover of items. Parts will collapse or expand.

Memory problems may be rather difficult to troubleshoot. It may be worth running something like memtest overnight to check your RAM

You may want to remember about:about as it lists this among most other useful About: urls.
