SEE: How do I change to the desktop view in Firefox for Android?

On some websites, there should be a Desktop/Mobile site selection at the bottom.

Menu -> Request Desktop Site

When I tick the "request desktop site" box on my synced android tablet (Hudl), nothing happens or changes. I can see all my bookmarks in the 'bookmarks toolbar' but in a long list. I was expecting to see them in horizontal row of tabs as per my desk top.

Anyone got a solution?

Hi pigfy, the checkbox doesn't affect the user interface of Firefox for Android itself, only (if it works) the pages retrieved as you browse.

If you want to display your bookmarks as a horizontal toolbar, I think you would need an add-on for that. Not sure whether anyone has created one.
