I don't know why firefox suddenly decides to start in the default settings, and I lose all my bookmarks, history, desktop settings, etc.., and I get just a basic page with nothing on it? My laptop gets windows updates everyday and my security settings are up to date. I also have only one profile user on this laptop, so please help me solve this issue..

And why this does not happen with Internet Explorer, and only Firefox? makes me hate to use Firefox because it is so unstable.
