Norton releases an update with each new Firefox version, usually on the same day that a new Firefox version is released. You need to run Norton Live Update several times to be sure that all updates are downloaded and installed. You can usually find the Norton update for the Firefox version by entering in Google "firefox 17 norton compatibility" (including the quotation marks) and substituting the current Firefox version number, if not Firefox 17.

Here is the information from Norton about compatibility with Firefox 17. Read it carefully.

Other - You should check your Plugins and update as needed.

  1. Check your Plugins - https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/
  2. Shockwave Flash 11.4 r402
