Saved Passwords not coming when I use Firefox Sync on another machine

Dear Sir (or) Madam,

I have Firefox Sync account on my desktop. I want to move my books marks along with user name and saved passwords for the sites. When I do Synch at my laptop all books marks came but Saved passwords and usernames for the sites (that are in bookmarks) did not synch?

What should I do?

Please email me personal information deleted by a moderator as early as possible.

Hi rsvPrasad,

In your Firefox Sync preferences, do you have Firefox set to sync passwords (or everything)? That's the first thing I'd check. You might also want to take a look at Firefox Sync troubleshooting and tips.

Hi Matt,

I opted "Passwords" to be synched at my desktop for my Synch account not why they are not synching at my laptop. Any help is much appreciated.

You need to have that preference for syncing passwords set on both the desktop and the laptop.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I checked "Passwords" is checked on both my desktop and laptop. But Passwords are not synched at my laptop. for my Gmail account I changed password at my desktop and clcik on "Synch Options" and clcik on Done (please note that the "Passwords" is already checked so it should be synched). I opened my firefox at my laptop and clcik on Tools--> Synchnow. and try to login to gmail the password of gmail account which I changes is not synched?

Please help me.

I did not understand what is use of Synch appilcation then?, may be I am missing something?

Please let me know.
