Firefox won't allow me to edit, add or delete entries in Google calendar

I am using Firefox 9, and recently I've been unable to add, delete or edit items on my Google Calendars. I click on the date box, which usually pops up the box to enter in the event details, and it highlights the whole box (and other boxes if I move the mouse around). It then freezes the calendar and I can't click on anything. I can reload the page and access some of the calendar features (toggling calendars on/off, settings etc), but the minute I click to add/edit/delete an event it's frozen again.

The calendar works in IE.
