have installed latest version of firefox. installation process has disabled skype's extension 5.3.0.7550 and it has made it unstable (skype crashes down after 5-10 sec). have reinstalled skype but problem persists. have tried to reverse back to older version of firefox which seems to be impossible. use of skype is very important to me as I do have many family members who are living overseas and some of them i can contact only by using skype. could you please have look at this issue with compatibility.

The Skype extension for Firefox has a long history of being problematic in Firefox. Various older version of that extension have been "blocklisted" by Mozilla from time to time due to causing a high number of Firefox crashes in the last 3 or 4 years.

You don't need that Skype extension in Firefox to be able to use Skype or to use Firefox.
