when I go to certain sites, fast browser search redirects.

win xp, compaq1.26Ghz athlon, 768m ram, FF3.6 latest update.

started today after the firefox update. I have bookmarked sites I visit regularly. Fast browser search redirects away from one site today. I checked the permissions, made sure results are Not filtered, still redirects. Disabled then uninstalled the fast browser add-on, still redirects. Restarted computer, same result.

You can try these methods:

Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs. Uninstall "Fast Browser search protection" and "Fast Browser Search" (MyWebTatoo) (My Tattoons) (mywebtattoo.com)(www.tattoodle.com) 

Files: fast-browser-search.xml, fbstoolbar.jar, fbstoolbar.manifest
