The Update history for Firefox gives the date of updates: 20100824153629; 20100722155716; 20100713130626; 20100625231939; 20100611143157, as Wednesday December 31,1969 06:00 p.m. I wonder why?

It means for some reason the update process did not get the date from the system so it uses a default date of December 31, 1969. The update would have installed properly.
