I try to "Add Bookmark" and it does absolutely nothing; any ideas on how to get Firefox to allow me to bookmark again?

Firefox will no longer allow me to "Add Bookmark." I attempted to delete the localstore.rdf file, another forum suggested it might be corrupt, but everytime I relaunch Firefox the same file reappears. Any other ideas as to how to get Firefox to allow me to bookmark again?
