USCIS websites suddenly became unable to load in Firefox - is this being addressed?

Hello,

Last week sometime (perhaps earlier) all my saved USCIS links stopped being able to load in Firefox. See uploaded images - the same link below will give me the "access denied" page - however if I first navigate to uscis.gov, the links work. I have tried deleting my history and cookies, but the problem persists.

https://www.uscis.gov/i-9-central/form-i-9-resources/handbook-for-employers-m-274/50-automatic-extensions-of-employment-authorization-andor-employment-authorization-documents-eads-in/51-automatic-extensions-based-on-a-timely-filed-application-to-renew-employment-authorization

Thank you,

Jay Garrison

Hi Jay, this is coming from a provider the site uses for their security. You can try to complain to them to unblock you, but I'm aware of how silly that sounds:( For some reason you might have just tripped some of their elevated risk protections, so they now refuse navigation if it's not coming through their homepage first.

I'll forward the reference error IDs you reported, so they're sent to Akamai/Edgesuite as wrong blocks, but that won't change anything short–term. These block usually fade away within a couple of days.

I'm not sure if you're running the Enterprise version 140 intentionally, you might have more success using a different release channel (e.g. installing a separate Beta beta.mozilla.org to test?) — that nonetheless doesn't change the fact that ESR is a well–supported version that is getting updates for months to come so there's no reason to block access to it.
