How do I stop the attached Newsmax webpage error message that I encounter daily? I am using Firefox on a Macbook with OS Sequoia 15.6.1. This error message requires that I switch to Brave to view Newsmax. This has been a longstanding problem with Firefox which I've posted before to no avail. Can anyone advise what the problem is? Thank you.

Thanks for trying to help. Unfortunately, the article you attached has outdated instructions for Bitdefender so I was unable to take the recommended actions as the menu options it specifies don't exist.

I don't get the Secure Connection Failed error message when switching from Firefox to Brave, so it can't be a computer antivirus problem. The problem occurs solely with Firefox, not with Brave or other browsers. If it were an antivirus issue, it would occur on all browsers.

This article has no mention of Bitdefender that I can see, but it should help with the problem that you are experiencing:

The article you linked has a sub-link in the Possible Solutions section which contains outdated Bitdefender options that no longer exist.

This problem appears to be unique to Firefox and not to the Newsmax website nor an antivirus issue since it doesn't occur with other browsers.
