Firefox has a folder on my desktop that I do not want there. It will not let me delete the short cut. I uninstalled firefox and I still can't delete the short cut. I can't delete the files even though the browser is not on my computer any longer. Very annoying. Please help.

What folder is this about and what files are in it ? Did you download and saved files to this folder with Firefox?

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support to see if that allows to remove the folder.
