I have 2 gmail accounts setup in my thunderbird ver. 91.7.0 (64-bit). Until yesterday I had no problem with accessing both of them. I had to change the password for my first account and I had to delete the saved login and by mistake also removed the one from the 2nd account. Now I can access normally to my first account (it shows 2 saved logins: imap and oauth) but I can no longer access the 2nd one (just 1 saved login imap). I have removed several times the saved logins of the 2nd one but it keeps saying that the password is wrong (which I type every time and I have confirmed that it was correct). Can you help me, please?

Chosen solution

Possibly my error. I assumed the second account was not OAUTH. If that's true, click tools>account settings>server settings>security settings and click 'authentication method'

It 'sounds like' the second account is not using OAUTH.

And how can I set oauth for an existing account in thunderbird? I mean without deleting the account settings and re-setting like a new one?
