Thunderbird 91.3 "Invisible" Messages
I noticed around the beginning of the month that my incoming email came almost to a complete halt. I have been working on correcting this all week. Here is the weird thing. I get a notification from Thunderbird when a new email comes in. My Inbox number goes up every time like the email is in my inbox however they are not there. My inbox number continues to rise but no new email. Although every now and then one will show. I have had 7 show up since the 3rd which is what I usually get in an hour. Can someone please help?
- I am using TB 91.3.
- I am receiving my email when logging in to spectrum or checking my phone just not TB
- I have clear4ed out all my messages while logged in to Spectrum in case a orrupt email was interfearing.
- I have gone through all the settings on TB and they are correct.

After another update and restart the issue was finally resolved itself. Thank you Agnes for trying to help me. I wasted so many hours trying to fix this. I wonder what it was. Hope that does not happen again.

There is a search function, that has a 'pin' option. Check that you have not inadvertently 'pinned' a specific search which would then hide all messages that don't match the search term.
Agnes thank you. I wish it was just that. I have not pinned anything. I am still having the issue. It is driving me crazy. Any other ideas?
Guessing is hard. You say the menu shows a total of emails in TB inbox that does not match the emails you can see in that folder. Please post a screen shot of the whole of Thunderbird showing the inbox view and side bar folders (erase/draw over any private info like your address or sender names). Button to add images is below Post Reply. Maybe a filter is moving or deleting them, but in that case the 'Inbox' unread total would not increase so that's probably not it. I would find some specific recent emails in the online Spectrum account Inbox, and then do a search in Thunderbird for each email. See if they are found or not, and if found, which folder they are in.
