Had to reload win10. When I downloaded TBird I no longer see email folders and emails. I did restore from system backup. It would not restore the Profile. I can see the folders and email files but they don't show in folder tree.

I got back my address book by restoring to a "neutral" location, then copying the mbook and history files. I can see the folders with file sizes in windows explorer, however they don't show in the newly installed TBird. Any Hints?

Chosen solution

While reading the previous answers found the solution of copying the FILE entities which were my missing folders with ALL the missing emails in them in the body of the profile. I copied them to the "MAIL" folder and lo & behold, missing folders & emails magically appeared.
