I am a staunch Firefox supporter among other things for popup, and instrusive ad blockers. But popups asking for permission are been a major irritation. Hi

The messages you are seeing are a good thing, although I appreciate that you may not see it that way. Instead of sending "pop-up" style notifications, you are being asked if you wish to receive them and you should only have to answer this question one (if you do not clear cookies).

Firefox for Android can stop notifications, but you would have to agree to notifications from a website before that feature would have any effect.
