When I opened Tbird I got a google pop up asking for credentials. My email is in the field, when I submit it returns an empty field. When I use the recovery options (email & phone) I get a help window telling me to turn off cookies. I can log into google online no problem. The odd thing about the popup is the url at the top, there is no clicking on it, like it is an image and not an operable tab.

Open Options/Privacy & Security in TB and check the box to accept cookies, then restart TB and enter your Google password in the authentication window when prompted.
