unable to acess stored passwords in Thunderbird

Bill

Hi, I find that I'm unable to access stored e-mail passwords in Thunderbird. I follow all the instructions and a drop box then asks for a username and Password. I have never set either a username for Thunderbird or password. The only other option is a pin that that directs to e-mail addresses that have not existed for 4 years.

To access the passwords, enter your Windows account user name and password. If you sign in with an MS account, the user name is the email address and the password is the password for that account. If you have a PIN set to log onto the computer, click 'More choices'.
