update from 32bit to 64bit
I just noticed that the 64bit version is out and I installed it. Now there is the 32bit and 64 bit, on the computer. Why didn't it remove the old version? Can I just uninstall the 32bit without loosing anything???

That's generally the way things work on Windows. And because you didn't a migration process (which doesn't exist yet, and which I'm not sure would have uninstalled it anyway).

I think yes.
