Just started happening. On opening File manager, it used to open in its own "space" ( see pic ). Now it opens a a sub directory of Thunderbird. Does any one know why? I just noticed that the launch bar icons shrink to accommodate the new File manager icon but them resort to there original size and File manager settles in on top of TB.

Chosen solution

Please disregard. I shut down my computer unplugged it, no battery. Plunged it back in, rebooted and it seems to be behaving. If someone has insight, however please respond. Thanks David
