Some of my incoming e-mails show Viv Toria as the sender, when I know from the context, she didn't send it.
Many of the e-mails from people and groups I have received e-mails from before are showing up as sent by Viv Toria. I told her that, and she doesn't know why it happens.

Try to rebuild the index file of the troubled folder.
Right-click the folder - Properties - Repair Folder

Do you have the group email address saved in your address book under this persons name? This is the usual cause. Anytime Thunderbird sees an address that matches something in an address book it appends the saved name.
