Firefox visual glitches??
Firefox has worked great until recently. Now, I encounter these glitches:
It won't snap. Revisiting a window causes a black square to appear to the left of my first tab, pushing every other tab rightward and leaving a line on the left side of the window as if my current window is minimized and you can see a sliver of another window behind it. Sometimes, through deselecting whatever advanced setting Firefox suggested deselecting (something in advanced about graphical tech scaling) the app always crashes by slowly shrinking into the top left and then disappearing, making it un-launchable even in safe mode.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Options/Preferences -> General: Performance
remove checkmark: [ ] "Use recommended performance settings"
remove checkmark: [ ] "Use hardware acceleration when available" - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/performance-settings
Close and restart Firefox after modifying the setting to make the change effective.
You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.
