I would like to make the thumbnails for top sites in new tab page larger, the size they were in previous versions of firefox, and also use the whole width of the page up, not just the middle, currently they are way to small to see easily and there is to much wasted space on the sides of the page. It is hard to use and does not look good, please fix this or I will have to switch to a different browser.

Hi, for now the best I can suggest is -

To increase the number of thumbnails, type about:config into the address bar, press Enter, accept the warning, scroll down to browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.topSiteCount then right click > Modify to change the number to e.g. 18. Now restart Firefox.

To use the old version - which may be removed at some time in the future, type about:config into the address bar, press Enter, accept the warning, scroll down to browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.enabled and double click on it to change 'Value' from True to False, then restart Firefox.

Alternatively, you can use the add-on https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/new-tab-tools/
