Hi, is this on your Mac?
You have two choices:
(1) Go back to the "old" new tab page instead of the "Activity Stream" design (2) Expand the number of tiles
Here's how:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful or accepting the risk.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste newt and pause while the list is filtered
To switch from Activity Stream to the previous design:
(3) Double-click the browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.enabled preference to switch the value from true to false
If you keep Activity Stream:
(4) Double-click the browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.topSitesCount preference and edit the value from 6 to... whatever you like. Firefox definitely supports 12 because there's an option on the "sprocket" menu to have two rows. I'm not sure what happens if you select a higher value. (I get blank squares, but they might fill in later.)

finally figured out how to add url's to Top Sites now the only remaining challenge is to figure out how to get more than 6 Top sites to appear on Home page.
