Hello everyone!

Something very strange happen today. i wanted to close a process in task manager and instead of that process i selected firefox and killed firefox process. I mention that i had 15 windows opened, each one with multiple tabs. I open firefox and after restoring session i saw that it was restored only 7 windows from 15. I said wtf?! and killed process and reopen to see if this solve the problem. But it did not help and instead make things worse. This time only 5 windows was opened. I had give one more try and this time opened only 3 windows with the tabs on it. The weird thing is that i observe that it somehow lock on some "prefered" windows and after restoring only that 3 windows are opened. I saved profile in a different location than default one and i reinstalled firefox. I copied default folder back to original location and reopen mozilla but again the same only 3 windows are opened. I dragged recover.js over one firefox tab and it was opened and i saw that here are all tabs which i had opened before all of this happened. I opened manually about 80% of them and firefox crashed again and after restart opened the same 3 windows not all of them.

HMM...

i uninstalled mozilla entirely and after a clean install i opened recover.js in editpad pro from that different location and i opened 5 windows manually and after that i killed firefox again and reopen. The same problem. Only 3 windows are opened.

This make me mad and i really want to smash computer and desk and everything. I need help. I am so angry that i cannot think straight. Anyone any thoughts or suggestions or a fix?

hi, you might want to try tweaking the settings "browser.sessionstore.max_windows_undo" & "browser.sessionstore.max_tabs_undo" in about:config...

Hello there,

I did set both options to 1000 and did not help. It still open only 3 windows. For tabs it working and was working before. I mean in any of those 3 windows i can open as much tabs i want. The problem remain windows opened which are not opened all of them but only 3.

Any further suggestions before i blow my computer?
