I asked where is the line that includes 'delete', 'forward', 'fwd all', etc?

until a couple of days ago at the bottom of the list of emails in the inbox was a line that includes 'delete', 'forward', 'fwd all', etc. It's not there now - so I have no way of actioning the emails.
