I opened a Thunderbird email account for a business that isn't going to open. Now I'd like to close the email account. How do I do that? thank you, Colleen

Chosen Solution

Go to the email provider to ask about closing the account. In Thunderbird, you can remove it or just stop using it.

To remove it, go to Tools|Account Settings.

Select the account. Go to Account Actions, down at the very bottom, click it and there you will see an option to remove the account.
