i did something to make the folders on the left of the page go away and I can't get it back. How do I fix this? I am not very competer literate.

I have messages stored in folders which always showed up on the left hand side of my inbox message screen. I must have hit a button and the folder portion went away. How do I get the folders to display next to my messages in the inbox?

Did you lose the Folder Pane? From the Menu Bar select View-Layout-Folder Pane

If your menu bar is hidden press the alt key to make it appear.

If you ever do not have the view you want, the View menu is a good place to start. Glad to help.
