
my gmail account has stopped working
I recently had an error message in thunderbird. I had to change my pasword on nigeldw397@gmail.com account and thunderbird won't accept my my new one or the old one. The account works in a browser and on my iPad etc. but not in thunderbird.

What is your account type - POP or IMAP?
Please post your Troubleshooting Information.
At the top right of the Thunderbird window, click the menu button , then select Help > Troubleshooting Information.
Press the "Copy text to clipboard button" and paste the information into your reply.
