Adblock plus down not install

Ive tried many times, across multiple versions of firefox to install adblockplus, it always downloads just fine and gives a message that it was installed successfully but it never actually appears anywhere, and i could just keep downloading an installing without any change. Im on lubuntu if that helps at all ?

I agree with person there, should install Ublock Origin instead.
