Update Firefox to make my computer UNsafe??
As with others .. had an apparent bogus "urgent Firefox patch" Push webpage open mysteriously Very convincing looking layout, except for VERY persistent install/download pop-up "firefox-patch.js" Also suspicious was URL source of update: https://hahghpixelstores.net Managed to kill pop-up page & with lots of gyrations to finally kill very persistent install/download pop-up Very spooky & I presume very dangerous! Assume lots of Firefox users would appreciate warning & guidance on this sort of malicious FF "patch" impersonation. ---
BTW - did NOT appreciate this when having to re-create my Mozilla support Password, "Password must be 8 or more characters" Your webfolks coulda told me that Beforehand!!

Excellent re-formatting of my Post BTW; Converts it into a rambling, jumbled, marginally-readable mish-mash! ------------------------------ NOT particularly helpful to community forum users!
This problem of "malvertisements" driving users to phishing pages distributing malware has been going on for months. It's hard to solve because they change addresses every day so Firefox's built-in phishing/malware filters cannot keep up.
