43.0.2 firefox does not work
Firefox just updated today to 43.0.2 which makes it entirely non-functional. Nothing works. Nothing loads except troubleshooting information and settings. Completely useless.
Hopefully they are working to correct this flaw quickly, but how can I roll back to the previous version?

hi, please go int the system control panel > programs & features section and uninstall nvidia's (forceware) network access manager, which should address this issue.
I do not have that installed.
ok, what kind of other programs from nvidia are appearing in that list then? thank you
One that controls settings for my motherboard, which I will not uninstall.
so you are not seeing various other nvidia entries like in the second screenshot added by a user in this thread: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1100717 ?
No, only drivers for my motherboard, dds tools for graphic editing. NAM was hidden when I searched before. Uninstalling that, hope it doesn't screw up anything I need. But this might be the time I work at switching away from Firefox, if they are going to start blackballing legit software makers and bricking the browser.
blocklisting a certain dll file from NAM has been an emergency response, since it caused widespread startup crashes once firefox 43 was released. unfortunately it has not gone to plan, sorry for that! this is getting looked into...
