Hi, I'm still using Windows 7. Yes probably that's a cause but I'm not sure how. I'm using Firefox 115.38.0esr. Now for a while I've been finding it difficult to log into eBay. I'd try and log on and get this message "SORRY

I'd go to the homepage and successfully log in. Then it took more than one try. Now I can't log in at all. I can still log in on a buying only account. It doesn't allow me to use the password, but it will accept access via text message. With the seller accounts, it doesn't give the option for access via text message only. Can this be fixed by Mozilla? I removed all extensions, and reset by PC to an earlier backup in case corruption was a cause. I've also deleted the cash.

Some web pages do not display properly and I cannot enter data. For example:

I'm working on a website that generates and displays Unicode-based stylish text. Everything works as expected in Chrome and Edge, but some generated text doesn't render correctly in Firefox. In a few cases, the characters appear differently or fall back to a default-looking font.

I've already cleared the cache and tested with Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode, but the issue still persists.

Is this a known Firefox rendering limitation with certain Unicode characters, or is there something I should check on my end? Are there any recommended practices for improving font compatibility across browsers?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm running Firefox version 153.0 (build #2016172927) on a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra running Android 16. Firefox works fine accessing pretty much any website I ask it to, EXCEPT for one: https://www.site2241.net/. This is my own website put together with nothing more than HTML, CSS and some basic Javascript. It also has HTTPS for secure connections. Roughly 90% of the time when I attempt to access this website using Firefox on my phone, I receive a "The connection was reset" error. This is only happening with Firefox, and only Firefox on Android. I have Firefox on two laptops and a desktop, with the desktop running both Linux and Windows. None of them have this issue, only on Android. I've now also loaded and tried Chrome, Opera and Brave on to my phone. None of them give me this problem. Only Firefox. I've tried changing just about any setting in Firefox that I can think of (HTTPS-only Mode both on and off, DNS over HTTPS both on and off, Enhanced Tracking Protection both on and off, etc) that might affect this, and nothing seems to change it. Go to the website, and most likely I'll get the "The connection was reset" error. This website, puny and pathetic as it may be, is kind of my running technical diary. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. I'd really like to stick with Firefox. Thanks!

I can't download some pdfs, notably my bank statements. I CAN download some pdfs. Eg, I can download my car manual (although it's a process of downloading it to my Google Drive). However, trying to download my bank statements, Firefox gives me no options at all, and, indeed, I get an error message. Yet I CAN download my bank statements using Google Chrome! I've carefully checked all my Firefox settings, but nothing seems to address this problem. I've spoken to my bank, and they don't know why I can't download them either. When I try to download the statements, I get a screen saying it can't give me a 'Preview' (see attached screenshot), but there's a 'Download button. When I click that I get a white screen with the 'error' message:

I have asked about this before on this forum, but to no avail.

I have always accessed my LinkedIn account on Firefox. Suddenly today, my PW does not work, and my email address for PW reset does not return a PW reset link. Cleared cache without success. I can access LinkedIn on Chrome. Can you suggest what I have done to my Firefox to cause this? Thanks!

Some files that are visible in my PC's directory are not visible to Firefox to upload to attach to a Google g-mail, even though they are visible and uploadable to g-mail in Chrome. I created 4 similar (all pdf) files (printed from Adobe), but only 2 are visible to Firefox!!??

This has happened before. I try re-creating the invisible files, but have no success.

Unless I can fix this issue, I'll have to stop using Firefox.

Noticed a random problem over the last few months with Firefox currently running Mac OS 13.7.8 and Firefox 153. Problem started a few version back with Firefox.

I use gmail while viewing emails in FF I will click a link, tab to review information and I receive ---

Looks like there is a problem with this site 400 bad request. site could be unavailable or busy try again later.

I then proceed to another browser on the machine - Duck Duck, Chrome, Safari and ever browser connects fine, so the problem lies strictly with Firefox as there is no problem with the connection.

I saw a few items to check on the internet but none resolve the annoying issue.

Can anyone advise a solution before I decide to move to another operable browser.

Firefox 153.0.1 (64-bit), Windows 11. Immediately after this update, Yahoo Mail began showing a persistent "No internet connection" banner over the search field. Mail loads and receives normally — new messages arrive in real time while the banner is displayed — so the connection is fine. The banner covers the search field, so I cannot search my mail.

Tried without success: cleared cookies and site data for yahoo.com; unregistered the mail.yahoo.com service worker via about:serviceworkers; toggled Enhanced Tracking Protection off and on for the site; removed all extensions; restarted Windows several times.

Yahoo Mail works correctly in Vivaldi on the same machine, same network, same account. It was not happening on the previous Firefox version and nothing else on the machine changed.

Has anyone else seen this since 153.0.1?

I have problem with endless cptchas -mostly on Facebook and now it began on my banking page - it used to verify via my phone- now it is constant captchas. When I use another browser- I do not have this issue. It is so annoying I may stop using Firefox. I'd much rather have google puzzle. The "no captcha" extensions do not work! I really prefer Firefox, but you need to stop with the captchas and use google puzzle or some other verification method.

Recently, suddenly, the audio files on my website no longer produce sound in Firefox browser. They work fine on other browsers and all phones I tested. Can that be fixed by Mozilla, or myself? Website is JesusChrist.com

I have a certain website that I can no longer sign into. I have always been able to sign in to it, but I can no longer. It loads, but won't allow me to input my login information anymore. I can use another browser and have no problem logging in.

After clearing my cache, I got logged out of all of my accounts, and I can no longer sign into Google. When I enter my username it gives me a message that says “Couldn’t sign you in: this browser may not be secure. Try using a different browser.” I was able to log in using Chrome so it’s definitely not a device issue. I already tried clearing my cookies and cache again, and disabling all of my browser extensions, but I’m still getting the same message. Any help is appreciated!

Using iMac with M3 chip. Latest system software: Version 26.5.2 (25F84). On latest Firefox update.

I am no longer able to log in to my bank using the Firefox browser, BUT am able to log in using the Apple environment...ie Safari, and iOS. I'm a longtime customer/consumer of both Firefox and the bank, and this is the first time I've been unable to log in. I prefer Firefox over Safari, but my bank was recommending that I use another browser...like Safari, Chrome...etc. What do you think is the reason for what I would assume is a software compatibility issue? This was the message left on the screen: "Requested URL was rejected."

Any help would be nice to keep me from using Safari...
