Hi, Hoping I can get some help here, I couldn't find an answer in the search topics.

I have lost a few local subfolders. First the subfolders lost the emails contained in them and then the subfolders themselves disappeared.

I renamed the main folder just removing the year from the folder name and not long after that the above happened.

I have tried the following:

• Searching the help topics • Searching the forum • Closing reopening Thunderbird • I removed .msf files and restarted Thunderbird

I am not sure what I can do now.

Something is wrong with Thunderbird. I have uninstalled and reinstalled many times. Unable to get inbox emails. Infact no emails are coming. You can see the processing circle working but never completes action. Not sure if I am doing something wrong or the app is the problem. Using Samsung tablet. All apps updated. Please help.

My SENT messages are missing from my SENT box, which is greyed out. What do I do. Can I get my "sent" messages back?

I had a working thunderbird/gmail connection until my main drive went to SSD heaven. Yes, I have current backups but I took the opportunity to move to a Win 11 box so all my data is safe but might be in different places.

I can log into gmail but can not configure thunderbird to do that. The Account Hub does what it is supposed to and all is well up to Password question. The gmail password does not work and I can't remember ever giving thunderbird a password. My mozilla accounts all refer to a domain that I gave up 5 years ago,

Any suggestions would be very appreciated.

Thank you for the advice on copying the Thunderbird folder, which I have done. However, what is failing is the adding of further existing email accounts. I enter the Account name, the email address and the password but I still get Authentication error. I have, after some difficulty, succeeded in adding five accounts with three different hosts. The further accounts I wish to add use two of the hosts of the successful additions.

I have Thunderbird on Android 15. I can not move an accidentaly deleted message back to the inbox.

In Thunderbird > settings > general settings > visualization > visible message management (approximate translation from other language) I have selected "move".

I suspect that this is an error.

When reading an email, the "Mark as unread" button at the top does not work. Instead, it closes the email as expected but does not change the status from "read" to "unread". This used to be functional before the most recent update.

Account Settings > + Add Account > Mail Account > filled in Full Name and gmail e-mail address in Mozilla Thunderbird Account Hub > Continue > Account settings found automatically > Continue > Connect your e-mail settings "Waiting for authorization in login popup..." > website appears on my Brave web browser > Mozilla Thunderbird Email wants access to your Google Account > Select what Mozilla Thunderbird Email can access > Select all > Continue > error appears "This site can’t be reached localhost refused to connect. Try:

Checking the connection Checking the proxy and the firewall ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED" > Mozilla Thunderbird Account Hub, Connect your e-mail settings page says Waiting for authorization in login popup with spinning circle still there. Any simple, step by step, instructions to get my gmail account added to Thunderbird would be much appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
