If I assume you're trying to remove a web address from your list of bookmarks, click Bookmarks > Show all Bookmarks > select the one to be deleted and click Delete.

Firefox [or (Alt) > Tools] > Permissions Manager.

There is a search bar top left. Enter part of the site name so that all listings can be shown. Left click the first item. At the top right there is a button labeled Forget About This Site. Do this for each entry for that site.

"Forget about this site" will remove history, bookmarks, cookies, any site-specific permissions you saved, etc. You should only need to use it once per site. If you have a huge amount of history, it can be slow to run, so don't panic if Firefox seems to lock up for 20 seconds, let it run.
