When i open youtube on ff it has started to only work in pulses.
Whenever i open ff on youtube my whole laptop starts to only work in pulses. The best way to describe it. It has only started yesterday. I have tried to use another web browser and no problem. I also tried to open another website and the same problem. I think it only happens with media players on the site. What can i do as i like to use ff?

It sounds like you are having a problem with the Flash player plugin.
Recent crashes of certain multimedia contents (this includes Youtube videos, certain flash games and other applications) in conjunction with Firefox are most probably caused by a recent Flash update and/or a malfunctioning browser plugin such as Real Player.
If the problem only occurs on youtube then I suggest using the HTML5 version of youtube which doesn't require the Flash plugin at all. Click the Join Trial button on this page:
