How do I completely remove or permanently hide the search bar?
I am trying to streamline my browser and would like to rid myself of the search bar, period. Any suggestions?? FF4 on Windows Vista 64-bit

Open the customize window and drag the search bar in the toolbar palette.
Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"
