i have a fingerprint reader on my laptop which usually when i go to a site that you have to log on to a symbol appears in the corner and you just swipe your finger to log on but since i downloaded the new firefox the symbol doesn't appear and the fingerprint reader doesn't work at all. what can i do?

Which brand laptop? And which brand FP reader software, if it is an HP?

yeah my laptop is a HP. i couldn't be bothered with messing with it. i'm sick of companies creating updates that make other things not work. if your update is going to affect things either fix it or don't put it out. i have since uninstalled firefox 4.0 and gone back to the older version which i am much happier with.
