When I go to a website, my username does not appear on my home computer, but it does on my office computer. Same ver. of FF on both and Win 7 Ultimate on both. same, same, same. Password IS saved. What can I do?

Does it work if you type the first letter(s) of the user name?

  • Make sure that you not run Firefox in Private Browsing - Use Firefox without saving history mode
  • In Private Browsing mode some menu items are disabled (grayed) and features like visited links are disabled and not showing
  • You are in Private Browsing mode if you see "Tools > Stop Private Browsing", possibly grayed
