Why are my images only showing as links on websites?

Why are almost all of my images showing up as a link to the image. I put a code in right for embedded images but when i refresh or re-visit the page with the embedded image it is no longer embedded. It shows up as a link to the image which is quite annoying. I have followed everything here http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Images+or+animations+do+not+show but none of it applies to me. I have reinstalled and checked everything in that website page.

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

== Unknown, but I did not make changes to firefox.

URL of that web page is?

http://www.enhancedaim.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16182 This is one example, all of the images in that thread turn out as links to the image, not an embedded image like it's suppose to be.

It's not coded to show the image on that page, it's coded to open those images in a new window (__blank).

Then why can other users view the embedded image? Some of them use firefox.

Are those users logged in? It is possible that you get different code. Did you check the code that you have posted in that thread?

The code for all of the images in that thread is this: [url=http://img442.imageshack.us/i/packageplans.png/][url]http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/4330/packageplans.png/url/url

(Edited by Moderator: placed link in a CODE block - c)

Sorry, the actual code didn't post in here. Go to this link to view the code for images in that website: http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2r7mrg9&s=6

And yes users are logged in and out. Whether I am logged in or out, it still shows as links.

You would probably need the change the second url code to img: [url=http://img442.imageshack.us/i/packageplans.png][img]http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/4330/packageplans.png/img/url

Thank you, but for some reason when I click refresh or preview changes, the img goes back to url.
