Can anyone please tell me the most current version of Firefox I can instal on an old MAC Sierra 10.12.6
I need to udate my current version of Firefox, however, my MAC is so old that it wont run the most currnet version of Firefox. Can anyone tell me which version will run on my MAC Sierra version 10.12.6 Thank you.

Firefox 116.0 and later including the current 151.0.3 Release and 140.11.0esr requires macOS 10.15 (ten.fifteen) at minimum to run.
For the old EOL macOS 10.12, 10.13, 10.14 the most current Firefox you can run is the older Firefox 115 ESR currently at Fx 115.36.0esr. It is based on the old Firefox 115.0 Release with security/stability fixes since.
You appear to be running the Firefox 115 ESR already. If you ever need to download the current Fx 115 ESR you can do so at https://www.firefox.com/download/all/desktop-esr/osx/

Ive tried the fix you suggested, but I think im just storing more future problems as it seems to work on some web sites i use, but not others. I think its time to bite the bullet and get a new laptop, Ive just been delaying the inevitable )and the hassle!).

There are tricks how to try to hide you're running an old system in the linked thread, but these are not universally reliable, and some sites will still be able to tell the difference.
Check if you can upgrade your macOS version a bit, as just 10.15.x will allow you to run the current release version of Firefox just fine (and if you're not offered that system upgrade officially, there are unsupported ways in which to keep using older hardware even with newer macOS versions, research "Unsupported Macs" if you wanna try to run something newer on what you have.)
This is also really helpful, Im not typically good at 'tinkering' when it comes to technology, but I think I'll give this a go - Im at the stage of not having much to lose!
