Firefox 148.0 - Check for update has disappeared
Why do you guys always manage to break a feature with any new update?
For 148.0, you have caused the "Check for updates" button [available under Help > About Firefox] to completely disappear (even though it was here and working perfectly fine a few seconds ago with 147.0.4), creating an unnecessary blank space below the Firefox logo.
On another note, the new font for the logo is a very poor choice, it's a weird combination of square and rounded edges with weird proportions. Who validated this choice?

When your Firefox is up to date, you won't see the Check for updates button there. If you've set up Firefox to intall updates automatically, you won't have to worry about checking updates manually. You can check out Update Firefox to the latest release to learn more.
Illogical assumption... IF Firefox auto-update fails, especially after a re-boot or firmware/software update... Then user is clueless to the open access left unrealized. KISSS... always have "Ck for Updates" available, much better to double-check then to sit with an unknown security hole. I prefer to check for updates weekly as part of my routine PC security even with auto-update turned on... as it can FAIL. Better SAFE than saying sorry later... Blindly assuming it is functioning properly is a truly obtuse approach to PC safety management.

Funny how nothing in your reply is sensible and/or useful.
The initial answer is true and fair - if there is no update to apply the option is not there to apply an update that is not required.
