In Firefox Android a few search engines are included by default. And we can also add other search engines. Brave Search is new best search engine but if I add it via other option it doesn't detect that Brave is default search engine means every time I search something, Brave search says me to make it default even if it already is so!

So if Firefox keeps it built in and we can add just by clicking on Brave, it would be better.

Hi

If you open the Search option from the Settings menu in Firefox for Android, select +Add search engine, you will be able to use this as the search string:

https://search.brave.com/search?q=%s

This will then allow you to search the beta of Brave Search as your defaul search engine in Firefox for Android. I hope that this helps.

I have added search engine but Brave Search is not detecting that it is default search engine. That's why every time I clear cookies and search on Brave it shows popup for setting its default search engine.

That is the Brave website, not Firefox for Android. Please appreciate that Brave Search is still in Beta and they may still be looking at some issues.
