No Password Prompt. SOLVED caused by ESET/NOD32
Thunderbird has stopped prompting for a password so I am unable to view new e-mail. I have made no changes in Thunderbird. Thanks for any help.

If you are using ESET/NOD32 security/AV then probability is very high it is causing your problems.
